Perhaps many are aware of the infamous Zombie School iGame that was release on the App Store by Retarded Arts and was banned by Apple amid a huge controversy which related Zombie School to school shooting. 

iPhoneworld.ca has described the whole situation in quite an accurate way, we would like to quote them here:

 So in retrospect, it’s quite funny what has happened.

- A few hours after our story got posted major news sites picked it up.

- 10 hours after our original story went live Apple removed Zombie School from the AppStore.

- Zombie School was in the AppStore for at least 10 days now., before being “suddenly” pulled.

- Until now Apple refuses to give comments on why they pulled the game.

To clear the confusion, we have replaced the objectionable graphics of Zombie School and have released Zombie City.  Zombie City is the same game (Zombie School) with different art assets. 

We have changed the theme from shooting zombies in a school to shooting them in a city using the same BOW (single, double or triple), GUN or Hand Grenade. We are glad that Approved Zombie City and is available on iTunes for purchase. 

No additional features were added in this version to make sure that costumers can get a gist of what Zombie School really was - a funny Zombie Game with cartoony graphics.

Zombie City has been on the App Store for three days now (it was released on 22nd Aug '09) and the response has been great.
